Red Guano

ORGANIC FOSSILIZED FERTILIZER
AMENDMENT OF DEGRADED SOILS

What is the Red Guano; It is a 100% ecological natural fertilizer, fossilized product of the faeces of seabirds existing in the Atacama and Tarapac√° deserts.-

Plants are living beings, they are born, they feed, they reproduce and they die, and as they are living beings like animals: But they have a difference from animals, that they cannot move, but if they do something that animals cannot, how to make their own food, which we know as Photosynthesis, and for this to happen, they need Soil, Air and Light, if one of these is missing, the plant dies.

The Soil is the layer of the bark in which the seed germinates and the plant deepens the roots to stay upright, develop and nourish themselves. In the Soil, plants find all the Nutrients to subsist and each one of them has a specific function

The Macro-nutrients or primary elements are Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and secondary Sulfur (S), Calcium (Ca), and Magnesium (Mg), and other minor elements, such as Boron, (B) Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Molybdenum (Mo), etc.

NITROGEN, important for growth and development, provides green leaf color and vigorous plant development

PHOSPHORUS, It allows the growth, the development of the root system, it intervenes in the formation of the woody tissue, in the fructification, formation and maturation of the fruit.

POTASSIUM, Important in the metabolism of nitrogen, gives resistance to the plant against diseases

CALCIUM, Required by all plants, acts as a growth regulator, responsible for the constitution of tissues,

FORMATION AND ORIGIN OF GUANO

Fossilized Red Guano, We consider it as a complete, Ecological, Natural, Organic fertilizer formed by the excrement of seabirds in a fossilized state, which is mostly found on the northern Chilean coasts,
